Cahill Design Consultants are delighted to reveal we will be working on the restoration of the Leas Pavilion. This is in addition to a 9-storey residential building in Folkestone, alongside Ant Yapi UK.
The Leas Pavilion restoration is aiming to restore the building to its former glory. It is a Grade II listed 1902 Edwardian tearoom, featuring elaborately molded ceilings and elegant galleries. A major attraction of the Leas Pavilion is its sprung dance floor. It is a favorited local venue for culture, art, and leisure for over 100 years.
The project involves integrating the former team room into an ‘avant-garde’ luxury sea view apartment. This offers residents a prime seaside location, combined with the area’s local history and high-speed access to the capital.
CDC will be supporting Ant Yapi UK, by providing Fire Safety Engineering and Acoustic Consultancy advice to the whole project.
