Principal Fire Consultant / Engineer

This role has excellent prospects for an individual who is ambitious to progress and enjoys working within a vibrant, collaborative team. The role will focus on technical delivery and assisting with developing the existing Fire team and company growth.

You’ll have the chance to collaborate with our impressive array of clients and work on exciting, diverse projects. Your role will involve attending design team meetings and providing expert guidance on fire engineering matters. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance your project management skills by contributing to and overseeing the fire engineering aspects of our extensive project portfolio.

Essentials

  • Extensive experience delivering Fire Engineering support to projects.
  • Working towards or have achieved an IEng or CEng.
  • Excellent technical skills coupled with Client management experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of UK Standards and Guidelines.
  • Able to write concise technically sound reports.

Desirable Skills

  • Proven ability to guide and develop junior team members, fostering their technical and professional growth while promoting a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong track record in managing multiple fire engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Experience in building client relationships and contributing to the growth of fire engineering services within a consultancy environment.
